Algunos libros y artículos sobre metal

A continuación ofrezco una bibliografía (no exhaustiva) de libros sobre metal (y dos artículos). La característica común es el ser publicaciones de carácter académico, aunque la mayoría de ellas son meramente históricas o están atiborradas de análisis sociológicos que finalmente poco dicen sobre la música misma. Hacen mucha falta más aproximaciones filosóficas al metal (como la de Berger), no meramente conceptuales, sino que sepan incorporar elementos históricos de estética musical, sociales y también los aspectos auditivos y creativos involucrados en el género. Cualquier otra información bibliográfica es bienvenida.
